Food For Thought
Anna shared a short video clip of Chris Hadfield “An Astronaut’s guide to optimism” that reminded everyone that “…nobody changes the world on their own.” http://chrishadfield.ca/videos/optimism/

50-50 Draw
Odell drew the 4 of Spades, only a few cards off of the Ace this morning.

Judge
Judge Greg cut us some slack this morning and didn’t levy any fines.

Happy Bucks
What an extraordinarily happy group we were this morning! Happy bucks were given for the following reasons: being able to see youngest Granddaughter last weekend, having a deer run into the car (no damage), AUC volleyball team won Provincial Championships, kids are on a leadership trip to California for a week, grandpa’s 90th birthday, mother-in-law at age of 96 rallied, the Brier, individual entrepreneurs in Camrose, very successful healthy school symposium, Carmina Burana choir concert, our two guests this morning Carol and Deanne, membership committee received the first four names for consideration of joining, going to Victoria, attending a funeral on the weekend of a great person and hearing the story of her life, visiting grandchildren, having AUC students over for dinner, spending an evening with two friends, spent March 1st indulging in private tradition of looking for horned larks and found 5, bought snowshoes, hockey playoffs for kids and the RRSP deadline is over.

Guest Speaker

Anna shared some technology tips with us for accessing and utilizing club runner as well as My Rotary. Anna gave us a quick tutorial on how to send emails from club runner as well as where and how to access club documents such as community funding applications and expense claim forms.

If you have not set up a “My Rotary” account please do so at http://www.rotary.org/ and clicking on “My Rotary” at the top of the page. Your email must match the one that Rotary International has on record for you. This is different than your login for Club Runner and will help you access your donation reports as well as access other Rotary related information and documents.
