Destiny inducted Dean into the Rotary Club of Camrose Daybreak on January 7, 2020. Dean is Chief of the Camrose City Police. Dean grew up in the Red Deer area and has a policing career in Calgary and Airdrie. He is impressed with the city and the caliber of the police service we have. The members are well-trained and community-minded
In his short time in Camrose he and his wife Laurie have become involved in the community. Dean is on the Camrose Special Olympics board and is currently fundraising in support of his participation in the Centra Cam Bowl-a-thon in March. If you haven't already met Dean you may find him in unexpected places as he enjoys getting out in the community. In December he was at Walmart tending the Salvation Army Kettle. Finding it a little dull, he called on Laurie to bring his speaker so he could share tunes and his dance moves.
As a Rotarian, Dean is now one of over 1.2 million Rotary members in over 175 countries around the world. He will be welcomed at any of the over 13,000 Rotary Clubs in those countries. Rotary offers opportunities to serve in the community and around the world.
