From the Camrose Booster, January 28, 2020, Murray Green:

D'Arcy farms northwest of Camrose on the multi-generational family farm. After graduating from the University of Alberta in 1992, he returned to Camrose and became an active part of the farm operation.

What started as his parents' small dairy farm in the late '60s has grown over the years and now D'Arcy and his brother Patrick are part of the management team. The farm produces a variety of grains, oilseeds and pulses including wheat, canola, peas, barley, faba beans and flax.

As well as working on the farm, D'Arcy was employed as a medical lab technologist with St. Mary's Hospital and Alberta Health Services until 2016. He has been involved on a variety of boards over the years, including the Alberta Pulse Growers, Western Grain Research Foundation, Grain Growers of Canada and Alberta Grain Council. Locally, he was involved with the Armena 4-H Beef Club and Camrose swim club for many years. He is married to Lori and they have two boys, Brenden and Dylan.

The 2020 Speaker Series of twelve lunch presentations on Agriculture runs from November 25, 2019 to June 15, 2020. See the complete schedule here. For more information email CamroseSpeakerSeries@gmail.com.
